Death Librarian is the sonic custodian of books of the dead, books of life and unwritten diaries.
A Dark-Ambient, Death Industrial Tomoroh Hidari side-project that is all about dark musical atmospheres and the murkier depths of the collective human soul. Or the narratives thereof.
Ghost Elegies. Component Recordings. February 3rd 2023
“A ghost is what hangs on, a ghost is what can’t let go.”
Death Librarian’s debut album is a nod to the Gothic tradition in literature as much as it is an exploration of the darker, murkier depths of sounds.

“Spectral Fadeway” on Black Metal Rainbows. November 4th 2022. Black Metal Rainbows bandcamp.
A track from the then forthcoming Ghost Elegies album included on this tribute compilation which accompanies a book of the same title for which Tomoroh Hidari wrote an essay which had to be cut due to editorial reasons (but which might still see the light of day some day – no hard feelings) on invitation from it’s curator.
The unreleased track “Ghost Soil” was broadcast by The Dark Outside in fall 2022.
