Dystopian Dub Discotheque
Dystopian Dub Discotheque is the sister label to Ivory Bunker Recordings focusing on various variations of the Dub genre.
It was born out of the legacy of the Dondrine Dub Developments, later Dystopian Dub Development a series of monthly jam sessions that ran from 2005-2007 with sporadic events after that until around 2011.
It became home to the Nonjah Tunes series of “Dubnihilistic” compilations which started on the defunct Digital Vomit collective. After a lengthy hiatus the label was revived in 2023 with the debut release by The Dubnihilist (another Tomoroh Hidari alias).
Dystopian Dub Discotheque is accepting demo submissions from musicians who create interesting variations of dub, leftfield dub, dub techno, ambient dub etc. Please send links (no files) to hidari [at] gmx [dot] net.
